Stylist Business Terms

These Business Terms apply to stylists and other providers who list services or products on Sheahaircare. They supplement, and form part of, our Terms of Service; where these Business Terms and the general Terms differ for a stylist, these Business Terms apply. Sheahaircare is operated by FL4LL (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2023/810686/07).

1. Your account and independence

You are an independent service provider, not an employee or agent of Sheahaircare. You set your own prices, hours, services and policies, and you are responsible for the services you provide and for meeting your legal and tax obligations. You must provide accurate business information and keep it up to date.

2. Subscriptions and fees

3. Commission and payouts

4. Chargebacks, refunds and reversals

Because your share of a payment settles directly to your subaccount, you are responsible to Sheahaircare for any chargeback, payment reversal, or refund that arises from a service or product you provided, or from a dispute with your customer — including the customer's deposit and any associated fees. Where this happens, we may recover the amount from your current or future settlements, set it off against amounts owing to you, or invoice you for it. You agree to cooperate with us and the payment partner to resolve disputes and chargebacks promptly. This does not change a customer's rights under our Refund & Dispute Policy or the Consumer Protection Act.

5. Your content and your customers' data

6. Conduct and standards

You must comply with our Stylist Code of Conduct and Healthy Hair Practices, provide services with reasonable skill and care, hold any qualifications or registrations required by law for the services you offer, honour confirmed bookings, and represent yourself and your work honestly.

7. Suspension and deactivation

We may suspend or deactivate a stylist account where you breach these Business Terms, the Terms of Service, the Code of Conduct or the law; where there is fraud, repeated chargebacks, or a pattern of no-shows or cancellations; or where it is necessary to protect customers or the platform. We will normally give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to put things right first — except where there is an imminent risk to safety, a legal requirement, or a risk of serious harm to users or the platform, in which case we may act immediately. Suspension or deactivation does not cancel settlements already owed, or your responsibility for chargebacks under section 4.

8. Term and termination

You may stop using the platform and cancel your subscription at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive — including payout reconciliation, chargeback liability (section 4), content licences, and record-keeping — continue after your account ends. We retain booking, payment and invoicing records for the periods set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Business Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

10. Changes

We may update these Business Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the platform as a stylist after a change means you accept the updated Business Terms.
